What's New in V - version 1.1
=============================

This file briefly outlines the new features added to V in version 1.1.
For a more detailed description, please consult the Help file.

The major enhancements in version 1.1 are:

  - V now breaks up really large files into "chunks" and basically
displays each chunk as a separate file. This allows for fast
loading and display of even the largest of files.

  - Support for viewing EBCDIC files.

  - Improved line wrapping functionality.

  - The File Attributes display also shows details of the shortest and
longest lines in the file, as well as the type of line terminator used.

  - Files can now be sent as email attachments.

  - V can now be added to the default Explorer context menus, and made the
default viewer to be used on files that are not associated with an
    application.

  - Directories can now be created from the Directory View.

  - Directory View sort column displays +/- to indicate ascending/descending
    sort order.

  - Text ruler can now start at 0.

  - A few right-click menus have been made smaller.

  - View Tail and View Hex commands introduced in the Directory View.

  - The "?" key initiates a backwards search in the File View.
